 | Anderson, Hannah R | | Certified Paralegal | | | Hannah Anderson was born and raised in the Black Hills. She attended high school at Sturgis Brown High. After high school, she developed an interest in the legal system and made the decision to pursue a career in the legal field.
In 1998, Hannah graduated from the Paralegal Program at Western Dakota Technical Institute obtaining her Associate's Degree. She then continued her education and obtained her designation as Certified Paralegal in 1999 through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
Hannah has worked as a paralegal in Rapid City for over 10 years. She has experience in personal injury and property damage suits, insurance coverage issues, worker's compensation issues and commercial disputes. Hannah has assisted attorneys with many mediations, jury trials and appeal issues. |

 | Bieri, Judy G | | Certified Paralegal | | Judy Bieri graduated from Stevens High School, Rapid City, South Dakota. While attending National College of Business in Rapid City, she worked at the Stanton Law firm. Upon obtaining her degree from National College, she moved to North Dakota where she worked for the Mountrail County States Attorney/Schulte and Enget Law Firm for 20 years. Judy attained her Certified Legal Assistant designation in 1987. Upon returning to the state of South Dakota, Judy began working for the Costello Porter Law Firm in 1994.
While working at the Costello Porter Law Firm, some of the areas Judy has worked in include: Architect and engineer contracts and litigation, commercial disputes and litigation, business law, construction contracts, construction liens, construction litigation and arbitration, estate contests, eminent domain, fire loss, personal injury/wrongful death, property development, and insurance defense.
Judy is a long-time member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, as well as the South Dakota Paralegal Association. |

 | Schoon, Destiny D | | Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies | | | Destiny Schoon was raised in Spearfish, South Dakota. She graduated early in January 2000 from Spearfish High School and made the decision to move to eastern South Dakota to continue her education at South Dakota State University where her studies primarily included English and Criminal Justice.
In January 2005, Destiny moved to Moline, Illinois, a/k/a the Quad Cities, where she worked full-time at the law firm of Califf & Harper, P.C. while attending Kaplan University full-time in the evenings. She graduated in September 2007 from Kaplan University with her bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies and made the decision to move back to the beautiful Black Hills to be closer to her family. Upon her return to the area, she continued working and gaining experience in the legal field and joined the law firm of Costello Porter in early September 2008.
Some areas Destiny has worked in include: insurance defense, personal injury, divorce/alienation of affections, construction litigation, landlord/tenant, corporate development, estate planning and probate. |

 | Wright, Vesper A | | Certified Paralegal | | | Vesper was born and raised in Rapid City, having graduated from Rapid City High School, and thereafter taking college courses from Chadron State College, Black Hills State College and South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
Vesper first joined the Costello Porter Law Firm in 1973, as personal secretary to William G. Porter, working mainly in defense litigation. In 1981, she left to stay home with her small children and returned in 1989 as personal secretary to Dennis H. Hill, working mainly in the areas of worker's compensation and EEOC claims. Since 2001, she has worked in the areas of probate, estate planning, real estate, and business (corporations, LLC's, etc.). She earned her Professional Legal Secretary certification in 1992, and was certified by NALS . . . the association for legal professionals, as a Professional Paralegal in 2007. Vesper has been an active member in the Black Hills Legal Professionals Association, having served as President on three different occasions and on many committees. She also served on the Certification Committee for NALS on the national level for the 2005-2006 term. Vesper is a licensed foster parent who has had the privilege of caring for numerous children over the years. She has six grown children and 5 grandchildren who keep her busy along with her foster children.
The areas of law Vesper has worked in include litigation, worker's compensation, EEOC, Social Security Claims, real estate, probate, estate planning, and business law. |
