A Good Start for the New Year

From Deadwood, SD January 2008: Attorney Michaele Hofmann kicked off the new year by otaining a defense verdict for her client in a jury trial in an auto accident case in Deadwood. The jury awarded her client a verdict on her counterclaim as well and sent a note out asking if they were allowed to award attorneys fees as well - evidence they were solidly in her court on this one.
